Troy Taft is a Christian writer and the author of Bible Study Blog on the Amazon Kindle.  He has written many articles about his software development profession as well.
Troy is the President and Founder of Taft Software, Inc.  He has 29 years of software development experience.
 
He has provided software engineering and consulting services for RoleModel Software and for Synergy Consulting, Inc.  He helped Bonneville Power Administration in Portland, Oregon create one of their first Intranet sites. He has also experienced the thrill of automating his own first IT job out of existence.
 
He graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering Technology. In 1997 He was certified as a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) in Visual Basic and SQL Server.
 
He developed a free testing software product for unit testing JavaScript called JSNUnit and has written over 24 articles.  He also hosts a web site for JavaScript Software engineers and a blog especially for the Christian community.
 
His Brazilian wife and he are the parents of two teenagers. Troy speaks some Brazilian Portuguese, but he's not good enough yet to "shoot the breeze" or tell Brazilian jokes. Some of the things he tries to say sound pretty funny to them, however, so it seems to be working out for him anyway.
